Job Summary:
There is no experience necessary for this role, however past experience in any construction role would be an advantage! You do not need to supply your own tools, just your (CSA approved) steel toed safety boots. We supply the PPE that you need to get started (hard hat, hi-vis vest.)
- Keeping the construction site safe, clean and tidy
- Handling and transporting materials around the site
- Following instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks
- Assisting skilled labourers on site
- Use of basic hand tools
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs (23kg)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency with English (reading, writing and speaking)
- Able to follow strict health and safety guidelines
- Must be legally permitted to work within Canada
Work Conditions:
This role may require you to work in all weather conditions, inside and outside. Sourcing your own means of transportation to and from your working location will be required (the majority of our work-force use public transit with no issues!)
