GP Receptionist

Key Responsibilities: Greeting and assisting patients via phone and in person. Booking, amending and cancelling appointment using SystemOne. Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and letters.

Confidentiality awareness and understanding of data protection (GDPR) Responsible for completing the receptions related administrations as well as completing day to day tasks. Registering patients on a day to day basis. Actioning prescription requests within 48 hours. Using your own judgement and communication skills to signpost patients as well as booking appointments from urgency.

Divert calls and take messages ensuring accuracy and prompt appropriate delivery. Entering requests from home visits. To assist with opening and closing the practice.
