ABOUT THE ROLE

Our fast-paced and dynamic operation relies on the seamless movement of parts, vehicles, and equipment across the UK and globally, and we’re looking for a Graduate Shipping Administrator to support these operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-orientated graduate to gain hands-on experience in global logistics and shipping, by supporting our busy Goods In / Out Department. You’ll play a key role in supporting the preparation, coordination, and administration of international and domestic shipments – ensuring bespoke competition components arrive where they need to be, on time and in compliance with all regulations.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily administrative support the department.
  • Being one of the first points of contact with all carriers and shipping agents.
  • Reviewing carrier invoices and assisting the process of recharging customers where applicable.
  • Helping with company imports and exports and liaising with Shipping Coordinator and Agents to ensure customs declarations.
  • Administration of company carnets to ensure the ready movement of goods.
  • Ensuring compliance with post Brexit requirements.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • A recent graduate in Logistics, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent communication skill and time management skills.
  • Computer literate with strong MS Office skills especially with excel and outlook.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work experience or placement year within Warehousing/ Stock Control/ Retail/ Supply Chain would be beneficial, but not desirable.
  • An interest in motorsport and international logistics is advantageous but not essential.
