UX Research Graduation Project - Exploring AI in User Research

Location: Utrecht (Hybride) | Duration: 6 months (1 semester) | Start date: September ‘25

Are you a curious and driven researcher with an interest in UX, AI and digital innovation? And would you like to graduate on a topic that explores how emerging technologies can transform the way we understand our more than 8 million users? Then this graduation project at Rabobank might be just what you’re looking for.

Examples of projects/tasks

During this internship, you will explore how traditional research methods compare to AI-assisted approaches. Think of applications such as generating insights for financial products, testing digital banking experiences using synthetic users or even creating virtual personas. Your contributions will consists of:

• Experimenting

• Mapping out the opportunities and challenges
• Contribute to future-proof research practices

Together, we will define the exact scope of the assignment to align with your academic program and graduation goals. You will experiment, gather insights, and help us map out the opportunities and challenges these new technologies bring.

You & your talent

• You are a Master’s student in Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design or a related field
• You have a strong interest in user research, AI and digital innovation
• You are curious, analytical and eager to explore how emerging technologies can impact users and improve research methods
• You have experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
• You are fluent in English
