Health and Safety Checker

At Center Parcs all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectation. Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses, and for looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. That’s why it’s the largest team on each Village.

HEALTH AND SAFETY CHECKER | £11.60 per hour

In this role, you will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities will include:

• Testing the smoke detectors throughout all units of accommodation
• Undertaking other Health and safety audits across the village accommodation in accordance with the defined schedule
• Recording results and reporting defects

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 40 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will typically be on Mondays and Fridays, 9:30am to 2:30pm.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will be numerate and literate and you must be able to work in an organised and efficient manner and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
