An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) Services within West Dunbartonshire HSCP. This role is for Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker.
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic HCSW’s to join our amazing team. Successful applicants should be able to work well within a multidisciplinary team in order to deliver a high standard of patient focused care. The post is ideally suited to someone who can bring clinical experience and knowledge. Applicants from all nursing support backgrounds will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate transferrable skills.
You should have previous experience in a community setting as a Healthcare support worker at Band 2/3 with a proven record of development within the role. Biometrics, ECG recording and phlebotomy skills are desirable but not essential for this post. You will need to work independently and have the ability to work flexibly under pressure. An ability to prioritise your own workload is crucial. You will be fully supported through induction, ECG training and venepuncture if not already done so and in return must be committed to be motivated in your own professional development.
Applicants should have high professional standards and excellent communication skills. Applicants will be self-motivated ready to develop their clinical skills within a supportive department with existing strong leadership.
