Host - New Private Members Club

Opening next week in the iconic Arding & Hobbs building in Clapham Junction, The Arding Rooms is a brand-new private members club — a relaxed, stylish space for connection, creativity, and community. We’re now looking for an exceptional Front of House Host to be the warm and welcoming face that greets every member and guest on arrival.

About the Role:

As Host, you will play a vital role in shaping first impressions and creating a seamless experience from the moment our members walk through the door. You’ll manage reservations, welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, and help ensure the floor runs smoothly during service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Welcoming members and their guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm
• Managing the reservation system and coordinating table plans
• Communicating closely with the floor and kitchen teams
• Handling special requests and accommodating member preferences
• Supporting events, private dining, and daily service with a can-do attitude
• Keeping the entrance and host desk area immaculate and inviting
• The Club will be operate full service 7 days a week

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a front-of-house role, ideally in a premium hospitality setting
• A naturally friendly, outgoing and confident communicator
• Impeccable personal presentation and professionalism
• The ability to keep smiling, even when under pressure
• A helpful approach and genuine care for the guest experience
• Comfortable using booking systems and basic tech
