Your Role as Housekeeper

\n

\n

As a Casual Housekeeper, you will provide an efficient and effective housekeeping service to occupants in the accommodation, ensuring cleanliness and a welcoming appearance. Your role is crucial in making our tenants feel supported and valued in their living spaces. Join us in our mission to cultivate thriving communities where every resident feels truly at home.

This role is a casual position, with the opportunity to work weekday’s, weekend’s and bank holiday’s. This will be discussed more in the interview.

\n

\n

What You Will Bring:

\n

\n

\n
• Responsible for undertaking the full range of cleaning duties in a timely manner, ensuring working practices comply with all current policies and procedures relating to COSHH and Health and Safety.
\n
• Undertake scheduled and ad hoc duties relating to environmental cleanliness and/or appearance of the area, such as curtain changing, bed cleaning, carpet shampooing, etc.
\n
• Safely, operate power driven equipment in the course of these duties; to work safely, at heights in the course of these duties; and to use appropriately all safety equipment and/or Personal and Protective Equipment issued for use in undertaking these duties.
\n
• Check all supplies of cleaning materials delivered to the accommodation for quantity, quality, condition and date, reporting all short deliveries, damaged items, and incorrect dates etc. immediately to the Accommodation Manager. Ensure that all materials are correctly stored and maintained.
\n
• Ensure all waste generated is bagged, handled and stored correctly, at all times.
\n
• Notify the Accommodation Manager of any issues that cannot be resolved to the satisfaction of the occupant.
