HR Officer

UKEC is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team and support our human resources department. The HR Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's HR functions run smoothly and efficiently. This position will be responsible for various HR activities, from recruitment and on-boarding to employee relations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and On-boarding:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including creating job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
• Coordinate new employee on-boarding, including orientation and training programs.
• Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and assist in job classification and salary structure.

2. Employee Relations:

• Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their HR-related inquiries and concerns.
• Assist in resolving employee disputes and conflicts, promoting a positive work environment.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.

3. HR Policies and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
• Maintain and update employee records, including personal and payroll information.

4. Performance Management:

• Collaborate with managers to establish and monitor performance appraisal processes.
• Support the development of performance improvement plans and career development initiatives.

5. Training and Development:

• Identify training needs and assist in organizing training and development programs.
• Manage training records and track employee development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
