The team member holding this role is the first point of contact for our visitors, customers and team members when arriving at our facility. Serves as a liaison between the team members and the Human Resources Team acting as the first point of contact to direct their concerns and inquiries when the HR Generalist is not present. Provides clerical support to the HR Generalist and is responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

  • First point of contact for our visitors, teammates, applicants and customers in the office.
  • Responsible for answering the main switchboard and routing all phone callas appropriately and according to our internal protocol.
  • Serves as the liaison between the HR Team and the team members in the manufacturing plant when they come to the office when concerns and inquiries.
  • Upholds the professional and confidentiality standards when processing and handling HR related information.
  • Assists in the talent acquisition process with "in-person" applicants and in the applicant tracking system in identifying competent candidates for the open roles in the business.
  • Administers the first steps in the applicant tracking system and refers applicants to the recruiting managers as necessary.


Assists the HR Generalist in processing:

  • New Hires Orientation
  • HR documentation
  • Compliance resolution pertaining to I9 Forms


Assists the HR Generalist on the day-to-day tasks pertaining to:

  • Uniforms distribution and requests
  • HR daily activities and inquiries pertaining to payroll, benefits and other related matters
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies and HR supplies as needed.
  • Responsible for placing regular office supplies orders for the HR office.
  • Assists the HR Generalist with "Employee Activities" projects as needed.


EDUCATION

  • High school diploma and three (3) years of experience in a business environment or;
  • Associate degree and one year of experience in a business environment


EXPERIENCE

  • One to three years of experience in a business environment and performing a clerical role.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
