Human Resources Coordinator

- Entering and maintaining assigned employee data into company systems, including new employee requests, job changes, and separations.
- Collecting, tracking, documenting and uploading pertinent info to personnel files.
- Assisting with tracking performance management process milestones and compliance.
- Setting up and facilitating in-person and virtual training and orientation sessions for all new hires.
- Coordinating with managers and departments for first week onboarding plans for all new hires.
- Assisting with building administrative needs.
- Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Researching and answering employee questions.
- Assisting with company wide events as needed.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
- 1 year of experience as an HR Coordinator or HR Intern, preferred.
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
