ICT Support Specialist

Position Summary

Aertssen is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is an onsite role that forms part of a larger global IT Team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between operational users and the IT team, providing on-site technical support to ensure maximum functionality and uptime of all IT systems. Our goal is to support the company's IT operations to the best of our ability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the centralized IT department to set up systems and assist with hardware and software tasks upon instruction.
• Purchase the required IT hardware for on-site usage.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment in close cooperation with the centralized IT department.
• Install, configure, and maintain software on personal end-user devices, with a focus on Microsoft systems and technologies.
• Provide technical support to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Escalate issues to the centralized IT department as needed, with clear communication and instructions to facilitate a fast resolution.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of customer-specific information in the dedicated warehouse management software, with guidance and support from the centralized IT department.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT solutions, providing insights from daily on-site operations and assisting in software roll-out.
• Monitor IT systems and data through dedicated portal to ensure optimal performance and uptime and take proactive measures to prevent or resolve issues.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in ICT or equivalent experience is a plus.
• A proven hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Experience in corporate IT support, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft systems and technologies, including Windows OS, Office 365, Intune and Active Directory.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking concepts and protocols are required, experience in Cisco Meraki is a plus.
• Experience with warehouse management operations and IT systems is a plus.
• Low-code development experience is a plus.
• A passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
