Who you are- You have an amazing eye for detail (like expiry dates) and can effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities (like making an ice-cream cone and keeping your work station clean as you go)
- You are open to learning, have a general can-do attitude and are energized by working on a team
- You’re not the type to ever be caught cutting corners because you’re obviously Health-and-Safety-conscious
- You have at least 6 months of customer service work experience in a restaurant, retail or similar environment (preferred but not required)
- You are totally cool with working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, environment
- Being an active IKEA Ambassador by ensuring our customers are always in focus
- Serving customers and processing transactions accurately and promptly, including cash handling
- Ensuring that quality, efficiency and correct pricing is maintained and that our product range is displayed in an appealing manner
- Focusing on our daily and weekly sales targets
- Preparing to answer questions about our sourcing practices, ingredients, specials and standards
- Responsible for a clean, tidy, organized, accurately priced, attractive and inviting workspace
- Actively abiding by all IKEA safety standards, policies, and food waste programs
- Assisting other co-workers as required.
