Internship: GaN Technology development team (f/m/div)

Unlock the future of high performance GaN power devices! Within our GaN technology development team we are searching for a passionate intern helping us to tackle the key challenges to reliability and performance of GaN HEMTs within the next 2 years. Taking on the role of a technology development intern you'll join a passionate, international team dedicated to making the next generation of GaN power devices reality. Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Work on the characterization of GaN power HEMTs using source measurement unit (SMU) based and custom measurement equipment
• Create software to assist in the research and development of our GaN technology
• Maintain and expand existing hardware built for the static and dynamic characterization of GaN devices

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months



Your Profile
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical engineering, Computer engineering or similar. and have completed your 2 nd semester. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• Experience in software developmen t, Python is a plus
• Ideally, first experience in using standard electrical measurement equipment (SMU, oscilloscope, multimeter) to measure electrical circuits or semiconductors
• Ideally, first hands-on-experience on hardware development using layout tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) and corresponding skills in assembly and test of new hardware
• Possibility of being present in the company for at least 2 days per week (blocking possible)
• Optionally, HTL for electrical engineering degree or similar
• Fluency in English , German skills or the willingness to learn are a plus
