Internship (Sales): Global Pharmacy Channel

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Pharmacy Channel Intern to join our team and contribute to key strategic initiatives! This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting high-impact global projects.

As a Pharmacy Channel Intern, you will work closely with both local and global teams, to support the execution of critical pharmacy-related initiatives. You’ll play a key role in rolling out global strategies, strengthening execution in local markets, and ensuring that pharmacy activation plans are effective and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacist engagement measurement:

• Support the implementation of a global methodology to measure pharmacist engagement across key markets with toolkit and workshops.
• Help collect, analyze, and report findings to identify opportunities for improvement and best practice sharing.

Pharmacy Shopper Insight roll out, Category Vision & Shopper Marketing Toolkit

• Contribute to the development and localization of our Pharmacy Channel category vision (customer-facing narrative and execution plans)
• Support local markets in translating global shopper insights into actionable plans.
• Co-create a shopper marketing guideline (includes briefing, content creation, validation with stakeholders, guiding agency to ensure on time and in full delivery_)

Execution Playbook Development

• Contribute to the creation of an excellence in execution best practices Playbook, consolidating local success cases and tools to guide future pharmacy activation.
• Collaborate with local markets to ensure adoption and consistent application of the playbook materials.

New Pharmacy Partnership local execution:

• Collaborate and support local markets in rolling out and executing activation plans tied up with the new partnership.
• Assist in tracking implementation progress and collecting feedback to drive continuous improvement.

About you

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, trade marketing, or a related field. You have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. You are able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). You have a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
• Ideally available to start in September 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 2-3 days per week.
