The Team: The IM curriculum development team works with the IM community, IM’s partners, and internal IM teams to update, maintain, and develop new curriculum products and features. We are a collaborative, curious, and caring group of math educators whose highest priority is setting up students and educators for success with a coherent, culturally-responsive, standards-aligned set of PreK-12 course curricular materials designed using a problem-based instructional model.

We are looking for a K–5 Curriculum Specialist who will collaborate with the IM curriculum team to create, maintain, and revise K–5 curriculum materials. The person in this role will work under the direction of the Director, K-5 Curriculum, to help update the K-5 materials for the next release and create new features or products aligned with the core curriculum. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the IM K–5 Math™ curriculum and materials, as well as a vision for how our existing materials can be built upon to meet the needs of students and teachers.

- Provide feedback on IM’s and partners’ marketing efforts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with curriculum design principles.
- Support efforts to screen or secure new projects by giving input on proposals or grant applications.
- Provide feedback on professional learning products.
- Support IM Impact work.
Work with providers of IM Certified curricula.
- Ensure integrity and alignment of the core product, proposed new features, and product expansion with IM Certified criteria.
