The Kitchen Trainee role

Our Trainees are the stars of the future with a craving to develop their knowledge and skills! You are enthusiastic and motivated with a desire to deliver an experience that is beyond expectation - creating memorable moments for our guests.

You will have a passion for hospitality, be an excellent communicator, and enjoy working as a team. Your role will be supportive, hands-on and business focused to act as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting the company culture and values. As an integral part of the team, you will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the kitchen department.

Qualities/ Requirements We Are Looking For In Our Kitchen Trainee

• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Be enrolled in a school/university and provide an internship agreement

Just 5 kilometers from Schiphol Airport, the hotel is based in the attractive Schiphol-Rijk Business Park near Highway A4. Our guests can sink into a plush bed in one of the 281 comfortable rooms and suites at our Schiphol hotel.

OTIUM Restaurant & Lounge lets our guests refuel with delectable seasonal dishes made from fresh ingredients and offers a wide choice of wines and specialty beers. To maintain their workout routine, our guests can visit our on-site fitness center and our stylish event space houses 16 well-equipped meeting rooms, including the Noord-Holland Ballroom, which makes an admirable venue for conferences or receptions of up to 435 guests.
