Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) is looking for someone like you for the role of Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) I. From procurement and processing to reporting results, you can perform lab processes and procedures safely, efficiently, and effectively, while ensuring all lab data is correctly and accurately recorded and communicated. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience working in clinical Anatomical Pathology and Cytology departments.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience with Connect Care (Epic) computer systems.
