Market Trend Analyst

NZ AUTO T/A CITY CHEAP CARS is an Auckland based leading automotive dealership, committed to providing high-quality vehicles at competitive prices. We are currently seeking a Market Trend Analyst to join our team and help us stay ahead in the dynamic automotive market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to analyze automotive industry trends, pricing, and consumer demand.
• Monitor competitors and identify opportunities to enhance our product offerings and pricing strategies.
• Analyze customer preferences and sales data to forecast future market trends.
• Identify potential new markets and customer segments for the local car sales market.
• Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize promotions and inventory management.
• Prepare reports and presentations on market analysis findings.

Requirements:

• Have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistic or a related field; or have at least five years of relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
On-the-job training may be provided.
