Ezaki Glico USA is seeking a Marketing Manager, Communications. The Marketing Manager, Communications is responsible for the development and execution of mid-term (3-year) and short-term (1-year) marketing communication plans aligned with the marketing and brand strategies. This position continuously delivers company, brand, and product value to consumers through SNS and TTL/ BTL marketing approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Advertising, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than five (5) years of consumer product marketing experience, preferably in snack foods, confectionary food, or other consumer packaged goods industry.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Implementation: Drive development, execution and post-campaign analysis of a tactical marketing communication plan that achieves the business goals. Develop, prioritize, and implement marketing plans, including promotion programs, in-store events, trade show activities, etc.

Agency Management:
- Ensure to understand the company's goals, target market, and consumer insight fully prior to assigning projects to an advertising agency.
- Develop and assign target, goal, and KPIs to the advertising agency for each advertising activity.
- Ensure analysis is conducted promptly following the conclusion of each activity.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities. Improve effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Digital Campaign Management: Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including defining objectives, setting KPIs, budgeting, and measuring ROI. Aware of industry best practices on how to execute each category of campaigns.
- Campaign Integration: Collaborate closely with the product development and e-commerce team to integrate content seamlessly with broader promotional initiatives. Ensure content supports the narrative and objectives of our outreach campaigns.
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation and publication of relevant, original, high-quality content for the company’s all Social Media channels to ensure on-brand messaging. Oversee development and production of promotional and collateral materials for all brands. Ensure that all advertising materials are produced in accordance with the global brand guidelines. Work closely with the Sales Department to facilitate an annual plan for promotional items (giveaways) and point-of-sale-materials (POSM) that help build sales and encourage retail clients to conduct product promotions.
- External facing communication: Manage external-facing communication, incoming audience/customer communication. Regularly analyze content and campaign performance, adapting strategies based on data-drive insights to optimize reach and engagement and make improvements.
- CSR: Oversee GUSA’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs that align with Glico’s Corporate Philosophy.
- Performance Measurement and Analysis: Implement, monitor and analyze operational metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing communication programs. Continually improve effectiveness of marketing communication programs.
- Market Insights: Stay abreast of market trends and competitor strategies to identify new growth opportunities.
- Budget Control: Oversee the marketing communication budget, allocating resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the team goals and ROI targets.

- Create marketing reports periodically by leveraging IRI data, analyze the data, and report the findings to the VP of Marketing.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing communication team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and reliability.
- Set clear goals and expectations and provide ongoing coaching and development to marketing communication team.
