JOB VACANCY INFORMATION:
Contract: Full Time Permanent Position (with 6-month probationary period)
Hours of Work: 5 days per week [Tuesday to Saturday, closing at 3pm on Saturday]
Role: Member Services Officer
Reporting to: Operations Officer
Summary of Role:
- The successful candidate will be accountable to the Operations Officer of the Credit Union for carrying out administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the Credit Union.
- The successful candidate will also be required to work in any of our branches in Clara, Moate, Ferbane or Banagher. Therefore, own transport and full, clean driving licence is essential.
Key knowledge, skills and experience required include:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent is essential
- Relevant experience working in a Credit Union, financial institution or customer service role would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
- Have an aptitude for numbers, handling & balancing cash.
Working toward a qualification that satisfies Minimum Competency Code Requirements (MCC) would be essential but full training will be provided to achieve this.
