Bachoco USA is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for our Oklahoma City, OK location.

Job Summary: The Inventory Control Associate maintains production inventory and perform general accounting duties. Provides support to Production Accountant for basic inventory and accounting needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for collecting paperwork from supervisors and updating production cost records as applicable.
• Responsible for entering changes to inventory daily.
• Responsible for clearing up negative inventory, transfers not received and transfer reconciliations prior to the close of the week.
• Compiles and enters data for daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Faxing, printing, photocopying, and filing of inventory documents.
• Works closely with Production and QA to ensure that all production is traceable through paperwork.
• Assists production Superintendents and Supervisors as needed.
• Exposure to the plant environment for inventory processing is required.

In the absence of the Inventory Control Associate, the Production Accountant will assume all responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
