OPS SUPERVISOR

Luxembourg-Luxembourg-Contern | Full-time | Permanent | Mixed Shift

Purpose :

Promotes the company as a Provider, Employer and Investment of Choice by ensuring the good achievement of the Pick-up & Delivery + shipment inbound / outbound processes activities in Luxembourg.

Accountabilities :

Following the European and Global organization guidance, in tight cooperation with the (BE)LUX OPS Management team, directly reporting to the OPS & Gateway Manager LUX, the OPS Supervisor is responsible for:

• planning, controlling, supervising the INBOUND / OUTBOUND processes

• ensuring the good fulfilment of the pick-up and delivery cycles to achieve the set targets in terms of performance and productivity levels

• supervising and accompanying the Couriers and Terminal Handling in their daily duties.

• assisting the OPS Manager in implementing projects and improving the Service level.

§ Full time, permanent (40 hours / week); with flexible working hours

Technical / professional skills:

§ Bachelor Degree in Transport / Logistics or equivalent professional experience

§ French & English spoken and written

§ At least 5 year experience in Transport / Logistics

§ At least 2 year experience in a Team leading role

§ Experience in express delivery = advantage

§ Knowledge of the DP DHL organization = advantage

§ Knowledge of the Luxembourg territory = advantage
