Come join the team at our new site in Porirua which processes premium koura (crayfish), Ika (Finfish) and Paua Tuwa (wild abalone) for domestic and export markets.

Working in our Ika operations the Packer/Driver role is focused on providing support to our factory team. The position is customer facing and plays an integral role in representing Moana with local customers, delivering best in class service and effectively and efficiently packing and delivering product, and ensuring compliance and cleaning activities are completed, to meet the strictest food safety and quality standards across our supply chain.

We have 2 permanent, full time Packer & Drivers roles available.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor these are busy roles, that require a reliable, highly motivated and quality focused individual. You need to be able to hit the ground running, develop strong relationships with the team and deliver first class service to our customers from day one.

Workdays are Monday to Friday – 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, plus the occasional Saturday during busy periods.

This is a team-based role, so you need to enjoy working with others, supporting your colleagues, and ensuring every day, you are meeting targets, keeping each other safe and delivering to a high standard.

We operate our factories and processing functions to the strictest standard of food safety and compliance. It requires every one of our people to be committed to achieving this high standard, adhering to all health & safety requirements, and aligning behaviour, performance and engagement to our values and code of conduct.

Training will be provided.

What You Will Bring:

A clean, valid, and full NZ Driver’s Licence.

As a team player, with a strong work ethic, you will be hard working and physically fit. Honest and reliable, you will enjoy learning new skills, working with good people, and following processes. Ideally you will also have experience in fish/seafood processing or similar.

• able to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical
• fit and healthy
