The Ministry is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual who is a flexible team player for the position of Park Administrative Representative for The Battlefords Provincial Park (TBPP). Reporting to the Park Administrative Supervisor, this position will be involved in administrative park operations.

This is a seasonal position that usually involves full-time employment from mid-April to mid-October.

TBPP is located approximately 30 minutes north of the Battlefords. The park boasts numerous rolling hills and wooded areas and is situated on the shores of Jackfish Lake. It has over 300 individual campsites, 165 of which are electrified plus eight group campgrounds, picnic shelters and numerous day-use areas. Four service centers provide shower and laundry facilities. There are approximately 25 staff at the park during the peak season.

You will perform a variety of office administration duties with the primary responsibility of reconciling all park revenue and accounting for all saleable items. The Park Administrative Representative will also help to supervise the Campground Entry Office, providing accurate and timely information to the public and troubleshooting issues.
You will have knowledge of math and accounting principles and office/administrative procedures, protocols and equipment including computer systems.
The successful candidate will have the experience and ability to respond accurately and courteously to inquiries; calm upset customers and respond to their concerns or complaints; operate office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, answering machines and Interac cash systems; and prepare daily deposits. You will be reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to work alone.
This position will be required to work some weekends and may be required to work shift hours and/or be on call. A current and valid driver’s license is required.
