Part-time Nanny

Overview

Our client, a relaxed family from Los Angeles, California, have recently relocated to Ascot, Berkshire.

They are looking for a gentle and experienced Part-time Nanny to care for their 15-month-old daughter. The Principal is a stay-at-home mother, with her husband now retired, and they are looking for a nurturing, mature nanny to support the family on a long-term basis.

The family employ a Housekeeper.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Part-time Nanny in Ascot, include:

• Providing attentive, nurturing care for the family’s young 15-month daughter
• Engaging in age appropriate activities to support her growth and development
• Light nursery duties (laundry, tidying play areas, organising toys)
• Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Helping with light household tasks and occasional cooking while the child naps
• Assisting with pet friendly duties if required (the family has a dog and cat)
• Accompanying the family on occasional travel

Candidates must be/have:

• Experienced as a Nanny caring for toddlers, and confident in supporting early developmental stages
• Warm, gentle, and nurturing in approach
• Mature, reliable and flexible
• Willing to roll up sleeves/muck in when needs
• Confident driver with own car
• Live within a commutable distance of Ascot, Berkshire
• Fluent English speaking

Hours

Part-time – approx. 20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase over time.

Ascot, Berkshire, UK.

Salary

£20 – 30 per hour, depending on experience.
