Patient Registration Representative

Responsible for greeting all patients with courtesy and professionalism. Patient Registration Representatives are the first point of contact for patients. Responsible for the accurate completion of all required paperwork and documentation for all registering patients. Other responsibilities may include admitting patients to the hospital medical floor from ER, Dr. Office, and or transfer from other medical facilities, verify insurance and obtain authorization, when necessary, schedule and pre-register patients for Radiology, surgery and laboratory services. This position expedites the patient experience through the admissions department.
