The Global Patriot Finance team is seeking an early professional Finance Analyst (P2) to support the DCS German Patriot MEI contract. This position will require working on a program team in direct support of Program Business Management requirements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. The ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations will be critical to performing successfully in the position.

This position is currently designated as onsite and is based on the needs of the business. The preferred candidate will be expected to work in Tewksbury, MA or Andover, MA. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Relocation assistance is not being offered.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Work closely with the Earned Value Manager and various functional organizations during the Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and LRE process as well as assist in monitoring these organizations performance.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in APEX/SAP, Budget preparation and monthly Earned Value reporting

  • Assist in compiling compliant monthly EV reports for Program Management

  • Highlighting pertinent information derived from analysis of program data, including trend analysis. Proficiency of MS Excel is preferred.

  • Assist in supporting any compliance reviews or periodic process audits that may arise.

  • Attending program meetings and evaluating EVM data to drive program performance.

  • Assist in driving standard processes and tools across programs.

  • Proactively work with program stakeholders to achieve financial targets

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field

  • Typically requires 2 years of related finance experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Business Planning Systems (SAP and/or PRISM)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with EVMS

  • Experience with RPlan, BW, APEX, PRISM or a similar system

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, but also able to work independently

  • Demonstrate ability to meet critical deadlines

  • Deep critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and accommodate numerous stakeholders.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
