The Product Data Analyst will be a key member of our Product team, focusing on transforming product and customer data into actionable business insights. This role will partner closely with Product Management to drive data-informed decision making and help scale our product organization through analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business data analytics initiatives to provide visibility into product performance metrics and KPIs
- Build and maintain cross-functional dashboards and reporting systems to track key metrics including revenue, bookings, retention, engagement, and R&D costs
- Partner with Product Managers to identify metrics that matter and develop frameworks for measuring success
- Synthesize data from multiple sources (e.g., product usage, financial, customer) to craft compelling strategic narratives
- Develop and automate reporting systems to enable self-serve analytics across the organization
- Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, metrics calculations, and analysis methodologies
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar quantitative role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau)
- Excellence in data visualization and presentation of complex analyses to stakeholders
- Experience working with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel)
- Proven track record of using data to influence product and business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with Python/R for data analysis
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
- Familiarity with product development processes and agile methodologies
- Experience working with subscription/SaaS business models
- Understanding of user behavior analytics and customer journey analysis
