What is this role?

As part of the team, you will be responsible to set up, run and monitor production equipment, meet and exceed productivity goals and quality standards at our Truro Ingredient Plant located at 1024 Salmon River Road, Truro Nova Scotia .

• Monitor and operate food manufacturing equipment, including packaging equipment, filling equipment, weighing machine and detector(s).

• Complete all necessary forms and recording transactions in our systems (MES/ERP/WMS) while on shift, including weight check forms

• Complete all required sanitation tasks and any assigned preventative maintenance tasks

• Print product labels and scanning them into the central inventory system

What you need to join our team:

• Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• One year of experience in a food production environment would be considered an asset

• Ability to manually lift to 25 kg regularly

• Working knowledge of WHMIS, HACCP and GMPs

• Flexibility in schedule. Employees must be available to work the following shifts: Days / Afternoons / Nights / Weekends.
