Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Working with Team Leads and Project Managers to identify, secure, and onboard resources for the program.
- Tracking progress against project milestones and holding others accountable for assigned tasks.
- Scheduling internal and external program meetings while also tracking and following-up with action items.
- Generating invoice requests to ensure timely invoicing
- Identifying any barriers to successful program execution and escalating as appropriate.
- Building partnerships with various industry stakeholders and leaders
- Managing contracts and agreements with clients to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
- Manage implementation of new elements and technology evolution,network growth and modernization on-time,on-budget, and with minimal negative impact to customers.
- Plan the tactical implementation and delivery of new network architectures, plans, designs, elements and services to meet market plans.
- Monitors and documents the progress of the projects.
- Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards.
- Communicate project details effectively.
- Lead,management professionals and/or bargaining unit employees. In addition, provide performance feedback in a timely, constructive and positive manner.
- Handling large project teams within tight deadlines
- Simultaneously managing multi-million dollars, multi-year projects
- Directing projects reporting to senior leadership and involving cutting-edge technology builds.
- Managing projects considering time, cost, and scope.
- Collaborating with other Project Managers, leading stakeholder meetings to resolve implementation issues.
- Managing quarterly budget plans and monthly variances.
- Presenting summaries at Capital Management Team meetings.
- Overseeing financial program reporting requirements.
- Updating PMO and cross-functional scorecards
- Monitoring team performance regarding project timelines and delivery.
- Builds trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances.
- Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Strong relationship building and Build trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances
- Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Ability to convey the vision and purpose of the Project as seen by the management by setting goals, planning and prioritizing and have everyone on the same page.
- Knowledgeable about existing network architecture at an operational level.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to guide people through the processes,and build/train a planning and design team
- Communicate/clarify company's requirements to vendors and evaluate responses. Represents company's interests in dealings with customers,clients, sub-contractors or suppliers.
- Understanding of wireline and/or wireless Networks, coupled with strategic thinking related to wireline/wireless industry direction and technology evolution.
- Business, financial/budget and project knowledge,with solid business case development.
- Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and cross functional teams
- Verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills
- Comfortable leading in a continuously changing, dynamic environment
- Collaborative communicator, taking initiative and liaise with all levels of Mgmt and internal stakeholders
- Ability to capture and track project financials, reporting on status and measuring overall profitability
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, principles and practices
- Knowledge of capital and operating budget planning, execution and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office, G-suite
- Ability to present and facilitate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data effectively to solve problems and support decision making
- Recommended University Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering,Computer Science, MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recommended minimum 15 years of progressive technical and operational leadership.
