This position provides administrative support in day-to-day functions that relate to assigned depar Departments and their personnel. This position interacts with all departments and all levels of management, as well as external contacts. You will use electronic systems to store and track communications and log documents. Process badging documentation and coordinate badging scheduling with the client and subcontractors. Attend meetings and take detailed meeting minutes, document and distribute, assemble and bind reports/drawing involving spiral bind or related equipment. Scan/convert/upload documents and audit data and documents as needed. Arrange meetings and schedule conferences. Review documents for grammar usage, accuracy, completeness, and ensuring documents meet standards for production. Ability to communicate well and prioritize management requests and deadlines.

Jacobs Nuclear Projects and Consulting provides a wide range of services to government and industry in engineering, environmental, operations and maintenance, scientific, engineering, environmental and technical services. We are currently executing many contracts, performing work that is essential to our clients' missions across a broad range of functional areas.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Sole USA Citizenship
  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Above average keyboarding skills
  • Prior administrative support experience
  • Experience providing detailed meeting minutes
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Person already residing a commutable distance from the Idaho National Lab construction site is highly desired
  • Executive, Engineering, or Construction administrative support experience
  • College degree

Essential Functions

Work Environment
The work location is an active construction site at the Idaho National Laboratory. However, this position will be in an office environment at the site. (95%)

May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, explosives, chemicals and industrial facilities.

Physical Requirements:
Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and sit for extended periods



Equipment and Machines:
Standard office equipment - PC, telephone, fax, copier, related equipment (90%)

Attendance:
Regular attendance mandatory (100%)
Overtime/work outside normal schedule required (20%)

Travel required (<10%)

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sole U.S. Citizenship required. Dual citizens or visas of any kind are not acceptable due to the national security aspect of this role. Valid driver's license is required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be able to obtain and maintain a site security badge as required. Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
