About The Job:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team in the Health, Wellness and Fitness industry. As a Proofreader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our written materials. You will be responsible for carefully reviewing and correcting content to eliminate any errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and proofread a wide range of written materials, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, product descriptions, and marketing materials
  • Correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Ensure all content adheres to the company's style guide, including brand voice and tone
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to improve the overall quality of the content
  • Conduct fact-checking and research as needed to verify the accuracy of information
  • Track and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to writers for improving the clarity, organization, and structure of their content

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
