Looking for a seasoned Quality Compliance professional that ensures that the quality of Collins Aerospace products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving.
What You Will Do
- May manage Quality Compliance processes and/or projects.
- Uses experience and knowledge to influence processes, standards, and plans to improve compliance with internal and external standards.
- Reviews procedures and metrics that impact quality to ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Provides oversight for quality compliance audit processes to ensure smooth execution, and performs product, process, and quality audits.
- Reviews quality data and determines if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards.
- Explains policies, government regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.
- Manage Quality management system documents and manage all QMS workflows to document updates and releases.
- Quality representative with responsibility to manage product center (site PLM)
- Be the FAA liaison between all FAA offices (MRO/CMS) for audits and certifications.
- Manage QMS documents specific to MRO, and coordinate updates with the FAA.
- FAA primary DER for Drug and alcohol testing
- Conduct and manage Vision screens for the entire CEN business.
- Internal audit lead that manages schedule and auditors to ensure all audits are complete.
- ETQ site admin to manage internal and external audits in the system and managing Corrective Actions
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding and prior management of aerospace or other comprehensive quality management system, such as ISO9001 and/or AS9100 International Standard.
- Auditing experience beneficial.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
