Receptionist

As a Leisure Centre Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our visitors, offering a warm welcome and delivering exceptional front-line services. Whether based at one site or across multiple sites, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with the Duty Manager and Management Team to ensure a safe, friendly, and well-organized environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service by responding to queries via phone, email, and social media.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the reception area, handling administrative duties and cash transactions efficiently.
• Help new customers sign up for memberships, conduct sales tours, and stay updated on promotional offers.
• Contribute to the development of a customer-focused culture and assist in service improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with the centre’s management information system.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong customer service experience, ideally in a public-facing role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation, with an eye for detail.
• A sales-focused mindset and ability to contribute to membership growth.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience using point-of-sale software and working in the leisure sector.
• Basic First Aid certification or willingness to train.
• A customer care qualification or similar.
