We are looking for a Full Time Temporary Receptionist to join our team located in Morinville, Alberta. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the receptionist will provide outstanding customer service and administrative support to the team at Central Office.

Sturgeon Public Schools is looking for a Receptionist who is outgoing and enjoys working with people. The Receptionist will have a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. This position requires a high degree of adaptability, keen attention to details and accuracy. The Receptionist must be organized, independent, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.

Qualifications

A Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, a minimum of two years office administration experience, switchboard management and working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet and direct visitors

Receive, screen and redirect all telephone calls accordingly

Manage incoming/outgoing mail and couriers

Accept payments for fees

Monitor Division email/fax and forward appropriately

Maintain, organize, replenish and code office supplies

Draft, proofread, scan, copy and file documents

Data entry

Schedule meetings, including preparing meeting rooms

Annual Salary: $2,910 to $3,695 monthly

This is a temporary full-time position for approximately one year, commencing August 14, 2024. This position is 7 hours per day 35 hours per week. The Sturgeon Public School Division has a comprehensive benefits package which includes a defined pension as per the General Employment Conditions.
