RECEPTIONIST - Part Time - MAYO HOSPICE

Reporting directly to the HR Business Advisor, the Receptionist is the first contact for telephone callers, for most patients on admission, for their relatives and families, for visitors and for other official visitors to the Foundation. The Receptionist is required to be welcoming, helpful, caring and confidential at all times.

Candidates will have:

• Excellent organisational, administrative, resource and time management skills
• A high degree of flexibility and practice with the ability to multitask combined with the ability to prioritise
• Excellent interpersonal, team-working and communication skills and the ability to treat all matters in a respectful and confidential manner.
• Administration or other relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
• Experience in Palliative Care or Hospital setting is also desirable but not essential
• Strong IT Skills / computer literacy e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook
