Lombard International Group operates through two divisions:
Insurance carrier: Lombard International Assurance S.A.
Headquartered in Luxembourg, Lombard International Assurance S.A. is an insurance carrier specialising in manufacturing unit-linked life insurance solutions. These solutions are distributed by various regulated intermediaries, including private banks, family offices, asset managers, independent wealth and financial advisers, wealth and insurance brokers, professional advisory firms and other advisers active in the private wealth sector.
Distribution Companies
The Group has a number of wholly owned investment and insurance distribution businesses who market and advise on unit-linked life assurance products manufactured by Lombard International Assurance S.A.

Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
The Sales Support Officer is accountable for:
- Scheduling internal and external meetings, take care of daily correspondence (letters, faxes, reports, internal notes), review and draft e-mails, handle telephone calls;
- Organizing the Sales Consultants agendas and provide administrative support;
- Arranging travel, hotel accommodation and itineraries;
- Creating/ layout sales presentations in Word and/or PowerPoint;
- Providing support for monthly reporting using Excel and our “SalesForce” CRM Tool;
- Compiling and finalizing expenses with Concur;
- Maintaining a filing and follow-up system for tasks, documents and expenses;
- Managing the Sales Support mailbox and calendar for your respective region;
- Maintaining the contact database;
- Together with the Marketing Department, organizing specific partner events, providing on-site support for those and be in charge of the relevant logistics;
- Acting as cover for other markets of the region (Pool);
- Developing Business understanding and region knowledge (products, documents) and follow up;
- Working in close collaboration with the different departments (PCS, WSS; Marketing and Events);
- Preparation and pre-fill of contractual documents;
- Partner and Client meeting organisation and preparation;
- Reconciliation of different reporting and use of specific tools (i.e. Concur, Sales Force, Excel)
- Act as a middle officer between distribution entities and the supporting functions on a variety of transactions and issues
- Support Sales activity of distribution entities in terms of internal coordination (i.e. Files review with partners, Connect training, AML/CTF requirements,…)
- Facilitate the sales people in preparing and follow-up for transactional documents for both B2B and B2C policies
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Sales Support Officer?
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector;
- Fluent in French. English speaker is a must, any additional language is an asset;
- Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Adaptable and flexible, you enjoy working in a challenging and dynamic environment;
- A team player with outstanding organisational and communication skills;
- Customer-oriented approach, professional appearance and conduct, diplomatic and demonstrate absolute discretion as the situation demands;
- The ability to operate autonomously, prioritise tasks and exercise sound judgment and creativity in finding solutions;
- Proactive and reactive, quick learner with the willingness to learn about the business and contribute to its success; Stress and workload peaks resistant;
