Holy Spirit School is seeking a Groundsperson with a genuine passion for their work to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development our school grounds.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Minor landscaping work
  • Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
  • Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
  • Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds
  • Liaising with onsite contractors as required
  • Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
  • Support school security systems; assist with setting up significant school events; compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Previous experience in a groundskeeping role, ideally in a school environment, although desirable, is not a requirement. The Groundsperson will display strong customer service skills. You will also have a good work ethic and seek to achieve quality work whilst maintaining the highest level of safety.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
