FUNCTION (Purpose of Job) - Shipping
To clean trailers, set up oldest orders first, give the general labor and forklift driver layout of how the load is to be loaded to insure no damage will occur in transit and the specific number of cases or bags to go on the order.

FUNCTION (Purpose of Job) - Receiving
To control movement of inventory from receipt, to warehouse to production and back to warehouse if necessary. To properly identify material received and place into SAP inventory with correct amounts, correct row assignments and proper samples.

Duties;

  • Identifying material received and insuring proper samples from the different lots have been taken and properly logged on the receiving paperwork.


  • Unloading Inbound in timely manner, oldest first.


  • Maintaining accuracy of trailer tracking website information


  • Keeping up on the Standard warehouse transfers and what is needed for the week.


  • Inspecting inbound loads to verify clean and non-damaged trailers.


  • Insure all receiving paperwork is completed. All lots recorded, sample weight recorded and all samples are properly taken and delivered to the different labs timely. Ensuring all loads of ingredients not from Standard are having two bags weighed to verify IB weight accuracy.


  • All materials packaging or raw materials are placed into SAP location after all transactions have taken place.


  • Between the receiving dock lift truck drivers and clerk organize warehouse for inbound supplies.


  • Setting up the loading of sling bag loads to New Horizons.


  • Organizing and configuring LTL loads. Return to vendors, QA holds returns; maintenance repair returns, recycles cardboard and used super sacks.


  • Filing purchase orders / release numbers.


  • Inventory dock supplies, paper for printers, (pallet tag printer & palletizer paper).


High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

**This is a 2nd shift position: 4pm-12 am
Pay $26.95/hr
$1000 sign on bonus after 90 days
