POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for accurate and prompt picking of products from warehouse storage areas, and packaging for shipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Prompt and accurate picking of customer orders from warehouse shelving and storage.

Wrapping and packing picked goods.

Completing picked orders forms as directed for packing and/or processing.

Maintaining an organized work station and warehouse.

Loading outgoing freight.

Help maintain a safe work environment.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in a warehouse setting and/or inventory track a plus.

Must have basic math skills.

Basic computer skills a plus.

Must have good safety habits and attention to detail.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work regularly and dependably.

Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment.

Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.

Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in the warehouse with varying temperatures depending on the season.

Mobility within the facility, including but not limited to, sitting, reaching, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.

Lifting up to 50 lbs. for long periods of time throughout the day.
