STAFF ASSISTANT

The Office of Senator Adam Schiff is seeking a staff assistant to work in his Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-starting, detail-oriented, and willing to take on any task.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the front office, answering telephones, greeting visitors, managing tour and flag requests, assisting with administrative tasks, and assisting with constituent mail operations. Position requires general proficiency with standard office functions, interacting with constituents, and operating in political environments. Applicants should have 1-2 years of previous Hill, campaign or other relevant experience. California ties or experience are strongly preferred, and should be noted.

This is a full-time in-person position. Salary is $55,000. This position is eligible for all Senate employee benefits. Senator Schiff’s office is an equal opportunity employer.
