About the Role

BGIS is seeking a dedicated Stores Person to support our Facilities team by managing stock, logistics, and warehousing functions efficiently. This role requires a flexible and adaptable approach to ensure full compliance with BGIS policies and procedures while meeting business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently receive, distribute, and organize stock/spares within designated areas.
  • Perform daily replenishment of delivered stock items across multiple locations.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and update inventory levels accordingly.
  • Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate reorders as required.
  • Provide administrative support related to stock management and deliveries.
  • Ensure full compliance with BGIS Quality, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental Management Systems.
Qualifications & Experience Essential:
  • High School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Current manual Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg as required.
  • Experience in warehouse environments, including stock picking, put-away procedures, and stocktake processes.
  • Knowledge of receipting goods on delivery.
  • Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various duties efficiently

Desiable

  • Forklift Licence.
  • Experience with stock management systems.
  • Knowledge of financial processes related to stock management.
