In this role, you'll:
play a key role in the Supply chain function within the Engineering and Maintenance Team. This role would see you receiving, unloading, storing, picking packing & dispatching the material required by the larger team. You will also be responsible for managing paperwork and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders. You will have experience and a good understanding of warehouse operations and recognise the importance of accuracy and processes when dispatching and receiving goods. A strong focus on safety and commitment to WH&S policies and procedures would be essential You would be responsible for inspecting items for damage, defects, or required repair and escalate appropriately.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE AFTERNOON SHIFT FROM THE EVELEIGH DEPOT.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description.
About you
You have a proven experience in managing inventory and as a warehouse storeperson. Uou have a good understanding of the dispatching and receiving of orders, and liaising with customers providing exceptional customer service.. You have quick problem solving abilities and are able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Forklift licence and experience would be essential. Since its a phycally demanding role, its essential that you are fit enough to meet those requirements. You have strong organisational skills, are self motivated and have excellent attention to detail. You have the basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking.
