Summer Student - Labourer (Inuvik)

The summer student will assist with general maintenance & labour tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Always work safely, adhere to all aspects of the NTPC Health & Safety and Environmental programs, comply with all rules & regulations, and continually practice health & safety while performing any duties.

General maintenance tasks include (but are not limited to):
- garbage pickup and litter control,
- general repairs,
- painting,
- general labour activities,
- custodial,
- general carpentry work,
- yard maintenance,
- assisting trades staff when needed,
- washing vehicles,
- organizing shop and plants,
- other labour related tasks as assigned.
- Must have completed a minimum of grade 10 and age 16 or over.
- Steel-toed boots required.
- Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
