Supply Chain Operations Lead

About the role
The Supply Chain Operations Lead is responsible for leading associates from both the planning & logistics and shipping & receiving teams. They will provide the training, guidance, and support to the team members to achieve their full potential, while ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects and tasks assigned by the Leadership team. From the planning & logistics side, the position is responsible for managing import and export process, including compliance, documentation, and logistics on dangerous products. In regard to shipping & receiving, the SC Operations lead is responsible for keeping GMP records of all products shipped and received, ensures the timely delivery of required materials to the production floor as well as finished goods to couriers. They will also be responsible for periodic inventory counts and the maintenance of appropriate material inventories at various points of use.
Planning & Logistics:
- Ensure meticulous preparation of all shipping paperwork, including Bill of Landing, radioactive labels, Dangerous Goods Declaration, and shipping labels in strict adherence to DOT and IATA regulations
- Collaborate closely with couriers to establish shipping schedules and provide precise delivery instructions
- Proactively address any shipping-related issues and work towards efficient and timely resolutions
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time; collaborating for efficient project management and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Lead or participate in initiatives to implement new tools, systems, or processes that enhance team’s productivity and quality
- Facilitate regular team meetings, check-ins, and shift schedules to set clear expectations and objectives for team members
- Act as liaison between the planning & logistics team and other departments to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively.
Shipping & Receiving:
- Analysis and improvement of receiving, material handling and storing processes.
- Utilizes computer systems to reconcile and track materials: MS Dynamics 365, UPS, FedEx, etc.
- Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials according to IATA and internal quality standards.

Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain management or related training required; secondary degree preferred
Experience:
Must have 2 years' experience with relevant secondary degree or minimum 5 years of experience with relevant undergrad.
Operating with integrated ERP tools. Proficient with MS Excel
Exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations. The successful candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently, demonstrating a keen ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. This role requires an individual who remains composed under pressure, makes well-informed decisions, and delivers high quality results in dynamic work environments. The ability to stay organized, focused, and efficient in challenging situations will be crucial for success in this role.
Flexibility in work schedule, including the ability to work on weekends and holidays when required. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and open to accommodating changes in their schedule as the situation demands, ensuring the successful completion of tasks and projects within established timelines.
Highly organized with strong project management experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrates strong personal ethics and responsibility to purpose
Green Belt Lean Six Sigma and APICS certification is preferred

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between $112,800 and $169,200 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
