Team Assistant – Hydro UK

Location – Dolgarrog

Contract Type – Permanent

Working Hours – Full time

Main Purpose of Role

We are looking for an experienced administrator for the Hydro UK business, based at Dolgarrog in North Wales!

You will play a crucial role in daily administrative tasks, such as Procurement and Finance, Health and Safety, Estate administration, Documentation Control, Project Work, IT support, local training coordination. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to the smooth functioning of the Hydro UK business, ensuring the delivery of reliable renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support in a variety of tasks: for example Procurement and finance tasks such as raising orders, processing invoices accurately and efficiently to ensure timely placing of orders and payment for our suppliers.
  • Promote a culture of Health, safety and wellbeing: be a champion for wellbeing and healthy living, assist in organising site wellbeing days and challenge unsafe behaviours.
  • Estate administration: The administration of leases and rental incomes, communication with local tenants, raise and issue Indemnity letters to those who wish to use RWE land for outdoor activities and update matrix as required.
  • Undertaking project work as needed: The Team Assistant will be required to support in projects, so flexibility and a willingness to learn is key!
  • Coordinating travel arrangements : Provide a service to our colleagues who need to travel for business, booking cost effective travel options that meet employees’ needs (flights, trains, hotels and taxis).
  • Training – Organise local training requirements.
  • Document control - support the management and maintenance of document control activities including drawings, manuals and procedures.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Must be highly proficient in relevant business IT systems, including Microsoft Office (essential) and SAP (desirable).
  • Possess strong organizational skills, with the capability to plan, prioritize, and manage a varied workload independently.
  • Positively contribute to the company's business and safety culture, embodying the desired behaviours as per our RWE Values & Behaviours.
  • A confident communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as Welsh is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience of estate administration is desirable, but not essential.

  • An expected starting salary from approximately £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience and up to 5% annual bonus.
