About the role
The primary purpose of the Thrive Café Attendants position is to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Thrive Café. Reporting to the Cafe Coordinator, this is casual position based in Noosa, QLD.
You will successfully
- Ensure customers feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service always
- Ensure customers are satisfied with quality of food and beverages served through constant feedback
- Welcome customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
- Prepare foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Level 2 Award.
You will have
- Experience as a Barista, with food handling and customer services
- Experience of Safe Food Handling
- Knowledge of legislated requirements under the Food and Beverages Act
