Wood is currently recruiting for a Timekeeper in Aberdeen. This role will be based out of Sir Ian Wood House on a hybrid basis.


Duties of timekeeper include:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of site and offshore timesheets
  • Verifying coding, allowances and general maintenance of the time writing database
  • Reporting, checking and analysing data daily
  • Providing support to the finance team

Key Accountabilities:

  • Input of offshore and site-based personnel timesheets into the electronic database system, in line with the personnel/contract terms and conditions, to meet the weekly and monthly payroll deadlines.
  • Check the coding and arithmetical accuracy of hours and data received
  • Monthly input of all overtime payments received for offshore and site personnel (Allowances / Excess Days)
  • Accurate entry of standby and training into time writing database
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly client invoices in accordance with contract commercial terms and conditions
  • General administrative support to the Project Accounting Team
  • Daily interaction with multiple departments within the business to enable all timesheets to be recorded accurately
  • Set up / Management of Timewriting & Approval Groups
  • A10 Timecard adjustments
  • Missing timecard management
  • Absence Reconciliations
