JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is open to US based Warehouse Assistants with previous warehousing experience. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for all tasks that lead to a successful warehouse operation. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Office Manager. Your job will be supported by our logistics and customer service team, as well as our local engineers. Product and ERP system step-by-step training will be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible person for all processes connected with our Duluth (GA) warehouse.
  • Assisting with the daily logistics.
  • Offloading, unpacking and counting/ checking goods.
  • Loading and packing goods.
  • Checking accuracy of deliveries to customers (Domestic, Industrial Projects, MEP Projects).
  • Checking deliveries accurately: quality checks for goods in and goods out.
  • Being responsible to minimize errors in picking, packing and loading.
  • Reporting mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies immediately.
  • Ensuring all inventory is in the correct location.
  • Ensuring warehouse processes are completed in a timely manner.
  • Supporting tight timetables and given deadlines.
  • Organization of packaging, labelling, tagging and bagging.
  • Cleaning warehouse tools and tidying up the warehouse on a daily basis.
  • Using the ERP System/ Microsoft Office for small standard processes in the warehouse.
  • Capable of prioritising tasks and multiple assignments.
  • Positive work attitude.
  • Covering for colleagues during holiday and other absences.
  • Following instructions by the WM and DMD/OM.

  • Understanding standard process like Goods In and Goods Out.

EXPERIENCE
  • Reading, Writing and Speaking in American English.
  • Good imperial/ metric and numerical understanding.
  • Must have prior warehouse experience.
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite experience with a focus on Excel, Word and Teams.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be an experienced forklift driver and currently forklift certified.
  • Strong communication skills preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate loyalty and commitment to both the organization and its members.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs independently.

Job Type/Compensation/Benefits
  • Permanent.
  • Full time (Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week).

Compensation includes a competitive salary dependent on qualification and experience. Optional supplemental pay (performance based team bonus). 401(k) plan with a partial company match payment, HI plan (health, dental, vision), PTO and FlexTime options.
